PREPARATION
Start with a clean, weed-free seedbed
by spraying or tilling existing vegetation. Remove excessive thatch and expose
bare soil to maximize seed-to-soil contact. Ready Plot™ is designed to simplify planting, but proper site preparation remains the key to a successful food plot.
SOIL TEST & FERTILITY
Conduct a soil test whenever possible
and adjust soil pH to 6.2–7.0. Every bucket already contains Fuel™ Brassicas + Clover fertilizer, providing the nutrients needed to support early establishment. Lime should still be applied as recommended by your soil test if pH correction is needed.
PLANTING RATE
One 26.5 lb. Bucket
Plants up to ⅛ acre
Broadcast the entire bucket evenly
over the recommended planting area.
PLANTING DEPTH
Plant ¼ inch deep or less. After
broadcasting, lightly cultipack, roll, or drag the area to improve seed-to-soil
contact. Do not bury the seed deeper than ¼ inch.
TIMING
Plant approximately 45–60 days before
your area's average first frost, once soil temperatures have cooled below 70°F.
Planting just ahead of a soaking rainfall provides the best conditions for rapid germination and establishment.
MOISTURE
Plant into adequate soil moisture or
immediately before a soaking rainfall. Consistent moisture during establishment
promotes rapid germination, vigorous early growth, and maximum performance from both the seed and fertilizer.

Before opening the bucket, shake it thoroughly to evenly redistribute the Clover Deluxe™ seed and Fuel™ fertilizer. Seed may settle during shipping or storage, and proper mixing helps ensure consistent coverage across the entire planting area.

Ready Plot™ Clover Deluxe combines
premium Clover Deluxe™ food plot seed and Fuel™ Brassicas + Clover fertilizer into one pre-measured, pre-blended bucket. Simply prepare your site, shake the bucket thoroughly, spread evenly, and grow a lush, long-lasting perennial clover plot.
How much area does one bucket cover?
One 26.5 lb. bucket plants ⅛ acre when
applied evenly at the recommended rate.
Do I need to add fertilizer?
No. Every Ready Plot™ Clover Deluxe
bucket already contains professionally matched Fuel™ Brassicas + Clover
fertilizer, providing the nutrients needed for rapid establishment and vigorous
early growth.
Do I need to mix anything before planting?
No additional products are needed, but you should shake the bucket thoroughly before spreading to evenly redistribute the seed and fertilizer.
Can I plant Ready Plot™ Clover Deluxe with a hand spreader?
Yes. Ready Plot™ is designed to be
broadcast using a hand spreader, ATV spreader, UTV spreader, tow-behind
spreader, or other broadcast application equipment.
Can I plant it without a tractor or tillage equipment?
Yes. Ready Plot™ is ideal for hunters with limited equipment. For best results, remove existing vegetation, expose bare soil, and create good seed-to-soil contact before planting.
When should I plant Ready Plot™ Clover Deluxe?

and adequate moisture is available. Spring planting is also possible in many
northern regions.
Does Ready Plot™ still need lime?
Yes. The included fertilizer supplies essential nutrients but does not correct soil pH. Apply agricultural lime according to a soil test whenever possible to achieve the recommended soil pH of 6.2–7.0.
Can I plant more than one bucket together?
Absolutely. Simply maintain the
recommended application rate of one bucket per ⅛ acre. Multiple buckets can be
applied to establish larger food plots.
Can I save part of the bucket for later?
For the most uniform seed and fertilizer distribution, we recommend applying the entire bucket to the recommended planting area during one planting.
What makes Ready Plot™ Clover Deluxe different from Clover Deluxe™ Food Plot Seed?
Ready Plot™ contains the same premium

Ready Plot™ is designed for convenience and smaller hunting plots. For larger acreage, we recommend purchasing Clover Deluxe™ Food Plot Seed and Fuel™ Brassicas + Clover fertilizer separately for greater flexibility and lower cost per acre.
How long will the plot last?
With proper soil fertility, weed management, and periodic maintenance, the perennial clovers in Clover Deluxe™ can provide productive forage for multiple growing seasons. Overseeding thin areas as needed will help maintain a thick, healthy stand for years to come.
